This June, Frankie Ann made her script writing and voice acting debut in Let’s Write About on Manhattan Neighborhood Network’s Channel 1. Let’s Write About is an inclusive children’s arts and education show created by Donnie Welch of Donnie Welch Poetry. With a born-accessible approach to production, the show considers varying audience experiences from pre-production to release and integrates audio descriptions, American Sign Language, and captioning into each episode.

Let's Write About explores social-emotional themes through creative writing and inspires inquiry-based learning with sensory activities that kids of all abilities can do at home. Pulling from Donnie's work as a teaching artist, each writing prompt is multi-sensory and rhythm, song, and movement are used as entryways to literacy. A fiscally sponsored project of the 501(c)(3) non-profit Accessible Festivals, the show carries on their sponsor’s mission by creating quality, accessible educational television. The show recently partnered with the Houston Museum of Natural Science, an organization devoted to accessibility, to create a special episode starring Victoria the T-Rex and our very own, Dragon! Frankie Ann couldn't be more excited to have partnered with Donnie Welch Poetry for this project!
